While the people celebrated His entrance into Jerusalem, Jesus knew that they would never understand the real reason for His being there. They were expecting a king, someone who would restore their mighty nation on the world stage. But the man who came wasn't a mighty conqueror, He was a lamb, to be sacrificed to restore them to a right relationship with their God.
